Overview
The Data Architect will play a critical role in the company's data transformation initiative by implementing a new data strategy and a cloud-based data solution to enhance workflow applications. This position reports directly to the Head of Data and involves collaboration with various teams to identify data opportunities, improve data quality, and streamline data processes in a hybrid working environment.
Responsibilities
- Understand data flows and identify data opportunities for improvement.
- Identify and flag data quality issues across repositories.
- Assess manual touchpoints within current data processes.
- Enhance data lineage from high-level process maps.
- Support the implementation of a new cloud-based data solution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align on data strategy and objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Architect in a similar transformative role.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data solutions and data strategy implementation.
- Understanding of data quality frameworks and data lineage practices.
- Experience with data analysis and identifying opportunities for AI integration.
- Knowledge of the insurance industry is preferred but not required.
