Overview
In this role, the Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing advanced data architecture solutions that support enterprise-level data and analytics initiatives. The contractor will work remotely, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance data governance, quality, and integration while leveraging cutting-edge technologies in data transformation and management.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver enterprise data architecture solutions to meet business needs.
- Implement data governance frameworks and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Develop and optimize data models, metadata management, and lineage documentation.
- Create and manage ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and integration solutions.
- Evaluate and select appropriate data and analytics platforms for enterprise use.
- Lead the development of strategic technology roadmaps for data initiatives.
- Support large-scale data transformation efforts using cloud technologies.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in AI, data architecture, and governance.
Requirements
- Expertise in enterprise data architecture and analytics frameworks.
- Significant experience in designing data warehouses and implementing data lakes.
- Advanced technical skills in SQL, Python, Power BI, and data governance tools.
- Strong understanding of AI-enabled platforms and their architectural requirements.
- Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, and Snowflake.
- Experience in evaluating and implementing data integration and governance solutions.
- Professional certifications in relevant technologies or frameworks are desirable.
- Background in leading data strategy and governance initiatives in complex organizations.
