Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to contribute to a high-profile digital transformation programme focused on delivering modern cloud-based data solutions for the UK public sector. In this hybrid role, you will work closely with a talented technical team to design and build scalable data pipelines while ensuring data quality and integrity. An active SC clearance is required for this position.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes for efficient data handling.
- Build scalable data migration and transformation solutions using AWS technologies.
- Ensure data quality, validation, and integrity throughout the migration process.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
- Support testing, deployment, and ongoing optimization of data solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Python and SQL for data processing.
- Strong knowledge of ETL/data migration and transformation methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and related technologies.
- Familiarity with data modeling, validation, and quality assurance practices.
- Experience working with relational databases and large-scale datasets.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on data integrity.
- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is a plus.
