Overview
We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to join a leading Private Equity firm on a 12-month contract basis. In this role, you will be instrumental in transitioning the organization from a traditional SQL environment to a state-of-the-art cloud data platform, collaborating closely with the Data Lead and technology team to deliver scalable data solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines.
- Support the migration to a modern cloud data platform.
- Build and optimise data solutions using Databricks and Fivetran.
- Ensure data quality, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with the wider technology team to deliver key project milestones.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, and Fivetran.
- Experience delivering cloud data platform or migration projects.
- Strong understanding of modern data engineering principles.
- Experience with dbt, GitHub, or CI/CD beneficial.
- Private Equity or Financial Services experience advantageous.
