Overview
We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer / Analyst to enhance data utilization within an investment management organization. The contractor will collaborate with investment and operations teams to design and implement smart reporting solutions, including automated dashboards and real-time reports that support decision-making. This role is focused on delivering insights through data modeling and pipeline development while ensuring data accuracy and governance.
Responsibilities
- Design and build automated dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Develop data pipelines to facilitate data flow and transformation.
- Ensure accuracy and governance of complex datasets.
- Collaborate with teams to understand reporting needs and deliver solutions.
- Model data to support business insights and analytics.
- Maintain high-quality standards in reporting solutions.
- Provide expertise on data architecture and analytics best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Power BI, SQL, and Python.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, governance, and analytics.
- Hands-on experience in building reporting solutions.
- Experience in financial services or investment management is a plus.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric is a bonus but not essential.
