Data Governance Manager

Overview

The Data Governance Manager will oversee the daily functions of a data governance framework, ensuring that governance processes are upheld and stakeholders are actively engaged. This role requires a proactive individual who can drive governance activities and maintain effective communication across the organization. Working in a hybrid model, the manager will perform three days on-site and two days remotely, providing essential support to strengthen the data governance practices.

Responsibilities

• Support the BAU operation of the data governance function.
• Maintain governance processes, policies, and documentation.
• Engage with stakeholders across the business, communicating the value of data governance.
• Drive actions proactively and ensure governance activities are completed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in data governance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Proactive, organized, and tenacious mindset.
• Banking or financial services experience preferred, but not essential.
• Ability to begin within 4 weeks notice.
