Overview
The Data Integration Engineer will be pivotal in enhancing the data and analytics capabilities of a leading global health and fitness company. This role involves collaborating with various business stakeholders to design, build, and optimize data integration and migration solutions. The engineer will ensure data quality and compliance while contributing to best practices within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data integration and ETL solutions.
- Build and optimise data pipelines to support analytics and reporting requirements.
- Lead data migration activities between source and target systems.
- Implement data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines, ensuring reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and metadata.
- Ensure data quality, security, governance, and compliance standards are met.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in Data Integration, ETL, or Data Engineering roles.
- Advanced SQL expertise (data extraction, transformation, and loading).
- Strong hands-on experience with ETL development and data integration platforms.
- Experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines.
- Data migration project experience.
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing concepts.
- Experience with Data Modelling and Data Architecture principles.
- Strong data quality, validation, and cleansing experience.
