Overview
We are seeking an experienced Data Manager for a contract position where you will oversee the data management, reporting, and Management Information Systems (MIS) functions. Working collaboratively with senior stakeholders, you will ensure the integrity and accessibility of critical data, leveraging your expertise in iSAMS to enhance the organization's data strategy. This hybrid role requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to data quality within the education sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage the organization's data systems and ensure data quality standards are met.
- Develop insightful reporting and dashboards to support decision-making.
- Act as the subject matter expert for iSAMS, assisting users across the organization.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract valuable insights from data.
- Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel for reporting, analysis, and data modeling.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to enhance data usability.
- Support the ongoing development and governance of data management processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Manager, MIS Manager, or Data Specialist.
- Extensive hands-on experience with iSAMS in the education sector.
- Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write and optimize queries.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for analysis and reporting.
- Experience with Power BI for dashboard development.
- Strong understanding of data management, governance, and quality principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
