Overview
The Data Migration Analyst will play a crucial role in a significant SAP transformation project for a leading UK organization. They will collaborate with SAP specialists, finance subject matter experts, and technical teams to ensure the accurate migration of critical business data into SAP. This position involves addressing data requirements, conducting data quality assurance, and ensuring data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Analyse, map and migrate data from legacy systems into SAP.
- Extract, manipulate and validate data using SQL.
- Perform data cleansing, reconciliation and quality assurance activities.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and resolve data issues.
- Support migration testing and ensure data integrity throughout the project lifecycle.
- Produce and maintain migration documentation and reporting.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering data migration projects.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Experience working with Microsoft Access.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, transformation and validation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Previous SAP data migration experience is desirable.
