Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Data Migration Specialist with active SC clearance to join a vital digital transformation project focused on delivering innovative cloud-based solutions for the UK public sector. In this role, you will work alongside a collaborative technical team, playing a pivotal part in the planning and execution of complex data migration projects while ensuring compliance and data integrity throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver end-to-end data migration activities.
- Design and develop ETL processes and migration solutions.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to support testing and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data migration issues.
Requirements
- Experience with data migration and ETL processes.
- Proficient in Python and SQL.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies.
- Experience in data mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Knowledge of relational databases and large-scale datasets.
- Strong analytical skills and effective stakeholder communication.
- Experience in highly regulated environments, such as healthcare, is a plus.
