Overview
We are seeking a Data Migration / Technical Data Delivery Lead to support a large-scale technology transformation program focused on delivering critical services to a major government department. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a multi-disciplinary team to facilitate seamless data transitions and robust governance while bridging the gap between business analysis and technical delivery. This role also involves occasional client visits and requires eligibility for security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Own the creation, maintenance, and mapping of the 'As-Is' vs 'To-Be' Data Dictionaries.
- Coordinate with client-side stakeholders on the secure handling of sensitive data sets.
- Collaborate with Senior Transition and Technical Project Managers to develop migration schedules.
- Advise on and generate synthetic data for development and testing environments.
- Lead hypercare data reconciliation exercises post-go-live.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in complex data cleansing, restructuring, and migration across IT platforms.
- Proven experience with CAFM software or delivering Facilities Management contracts is highly desirable.
- Strong skills in MS Excel (Pivots, Macros) and working knowledge of SQL, Jira (Kanban), and Azure/IaaS environments.
- A foundation in recognized project management frameworks (PRINCE2, APM, or PMI) is preferred.
