Overview
As a Data Quality Manager, you will take the lead in establishing and managing data quality standards for a UK Digital Bank. Collaborating with various teams including business, operations, and technology, your main focus will be on implementing a new AI-driven data monitoring capability and addressing data quality issues effectively. This role supports a hybrid working model, requiring three days per week in the office, making it essential to engage with key stakeholders to enhance data governance practices.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of data quality rules for the bank's AI monitoring platform.
- Oversee the identification, triage, and prioritisation of data quality issues.
- Collaborate with process analysts and data entry professionals to remediate data errors.
- Develop and maintain data quality frameworks, controls, and monitoring processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis to drive improvements in data quality.
- Engage with stakeholders to influence and implement data quality initiatives across functions.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Data Quality Management and Data Governance.
- Strong understanding of UK banking data processes including lending and deposits.
- Proven track record of managing data quality frameworks and resolving quality issues.
- Knowledge of data requirements for regulatory reporting purposes.
- Experience in conducting root cause analysis within complex organisations.
- Ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders across business and technology.
