Overview
The Data Scientist will work with an insurance business to support a customer retention project. This fully remote role offers the opportunity to use data-driven insights to enhance customer engagement strategies and improve retention rates. Collaborating with a dedicated team, the contractor will apply analytical skills to develop solutions that address business needs.
Responsibilities
- Analyze customer data to identify trends and insights.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop retention strategies.
- Build predictive models to forecast customer behavior.
- Conduct A/B testing to evaluate the effectiveness of retention initiatives.
- Prepare and present data visualizations and reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data used in analysis.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or similar role.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R).
- Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical analysis.
- Strong understanding of data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in customer-focused industries, preferably insurance.
