Overview
In this role, the contractor will be a key contributor to the establishment of a new data science and AI function within a media business. They will engage in designing and delivering production-grade AI systems, specifically focusing on AI agent capabilities and the integration of these solutions into business processes. The contractor will work independently and take ownership of projects, collaborating with various stakeholders to transform business challenges into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build LLM-powered AI agents and multi-agent systems for practical business applications.
- Develop agentic workflows, incorporating reasoning, planning, and tool orchestration.
- Build and deploy production-grade Generative AI systems, moving beyond prototyping.
- Integrate AI solutions into existing business systems, APIs, and workflows.
- Contribute to or establish MLOps frameworks using platforms like Databricks.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business problems into technical AI solutions.
- Own the delivery process end-to-end while operating with minimal supervision.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong experience in delivering machine learning and AI systems.
- Expertise in LLMs, Generative AI, and RAG systems.
- Proven experience in building AI agents and agentic systems.
- Hands-on experience with LangGraph or similar frameworks.
- Strong Python engineering skills and experience in building scalable systems.
- Experience with MLOps and machine learning platforms, preferably Databricks.
- Familiarity with designing and deploying systems on cloud platforms, ideally AWS.
- Strong understanding of system design, orchestration, and production constraints.
