Overview
This Data Scientist role focuses on delivering AI and machine learning solutions using the Microsoft AI Stack. Working within a hybrid model, the contractor will collaborate with a delivery team to provide impactful data services, specifically in regulated environments, while ensuring compliance with security standards. Candidates should have active SC Clearance and a solid background in transforming data into business value.
Responsibilities
- Translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
- Develop and implement machine learning models using Python and Azure.
- Build and maintain end-to-end ML pipelines, including MLOps practices.
- Conduct data modeling, feature engineering, and statistical analysis.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for project delivery and management.
- Collaborate with the delivery team to integrate AI/ML solutions.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Data Science with proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Experience in delivering AI/ML solutions on Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure AI Foundry, Azure ML).
- Familiarity with LLMs, Generative AI, and Copilot-style solutions.
- Proven ability in building end-to-end ML pipelines with experience in MLOps and CI/CD.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for delivery and pipelines.
- Background in regulated environments with an understanding of data governance and compliance standards.
- Current and active SC Clearance is mandatory.
