Overview
As a Data Scientist, you will tackle complex real-world data challenges while working fully remotely. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business problems, build statistical models, and integrate data-led solutions into production environments, ensuring clear communication of findings to diverse audiences.
Responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to define business problems and deliver data-led solutions.
- Design and build algorithms and statistical models to extract insights from large, complex datasets.
- Collaborate with engineers and developers to integrate models into production environments.
- Communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure data quality and integrity across all outputs.
- Continuously improve models and processes using emerging technologies and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist, with strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Matplotlib, and Plotly.
- Deep understanding of machine learning, statistical modelling, and data mining techniques.
- Experience building and maintaining data pipelines and working with cloud infrastructure (AWS experience preferred).
- Solid background in data visualisation, with the ability to present complex results clearly and effectively.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience applying data science within engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environments is advantageous.
