Overview
We are looking for skilled Test Engineers to join a major Financial Services organisation on a contract basis. The successful candidates will work collaboratively with developers and stakeholders on critical testing activities within a regulated environment, primarily focusing on Unisys platforms. This role offers the chance to contribute significantly to a business-critical programme over a contract length of 6–12 months.
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and maintain test cases and test scripts.
- Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing.
- Identify, record, and manage defects through to resolution.
- Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure requirements are fully understood and validated.
- Produce clear test documentation, evidence, and reporting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to delivery planning.
- Support continuous improvement of testing processes and quality standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Test Engineer / Software Tester.
- Strong experience within Financial Services or other regulated industries.
- Experience working with Unisys systems/platforms.
- Hands-on experience using Jira, Confluence, and Zephyr.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
- Experience working within Agile environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Exposure to large-scale transformation or migration programmes is a plus.
