Overview
We are seeking a hybrid Delivery Lead and Product Owner to support a new engagement with a financial services client. In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse team to validate a data warehouse architecture and align it with the needs of finance stakeholders. Your focus will be on both leading the day-to-day delivery and shaping the roadmap for future initiatives as you facilitate communication among stakeholders and drive progress in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day delivery of the team, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions with finance stakeholders to gather requirements.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive roadmap that integrates various finance initiatives.
- Oversee the prioritization of the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
- Enable a smooth delivery process by identifying dependencies and expected values across projects.
- Support and mentor team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Analyze processes and implement optimizations, utilizing techniques like Value Stream Mapping.
- Manage competing stakeholder demands effectively, ensuring all voices are heard and considered.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Delivery Lead and Product Owner in the Financial Services sector.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex data environments and bring order to multiple initiatives.
- Experience in building and managing a product backlog from definition through to delivery.
- Strong facilitation skills, capable of leading workshops and guiding stakeholders.
- Familiarity with scaled agile methodologies such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum at Scale.
- Track record of problem-solving, risk management, and driving organizational change.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams, including direct interaction with technical leads.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, both personally and within team practices.
