Overview
The Delivery Lead will guide the successful implementation of client projects within the Financial Services and Insurance sectors, focusing on developing a new delivery team to address specific business challenges. This role involves facilitating workshops to detail problem statements into actionable plans and producing a comprehensive operational plan for the new delivery team. You will ensure effective delivery, manage the product backlog, and maintain client satisfaction throughout the process, working closely with various stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate workshops to expand and detail problem statements.
- Produce a vision, scope, and roadmap for the new delivery team.
- Develop an operational plan outlining roles, responsibilities, and ways of working.
- Manage the definition, prioritisation, and delivery of the team's product backlog.
- Ensure smooth delivery and a positive client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
- Transition to embedding the new delivery team and operational plan.
- Drive continuous improvement in team processes and outputs.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding.
Requirements
- Experience as a delivery lead within Financial Services.
- Demonstrated ability to lead business change projects beyond just technology installations.
- Experience in crafting user stories and managing product backlogs.
- Proven skills in workshop facilitation and process analysis.
- Familiarity with scaled agile approaches such as SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum at Scale.
- Strong understanding of lean/agile principles and techniques.
- Ability to solve problems and manage risks effectively.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams with technical and design professionals.
