Overview
The Delivery Lead will oversee a transformative program within the Analytics division of a leading Energy & Utilities organization, focusing on enhancing delivery processes in both technical and business streams. Collaborating with a cross-functional team, the role emphasizes embedding agile and lean methodologies while fostering a culture of self-sustainability and measurable outcomes. This hands-on position involves coaching, delivery leadership, and driving organizational change to ensure lasting improvements in delivery capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the transformation of delivery processes across technical and business workstreams.
- Establish Azure DevOps as the primary delivery management tool with robust reporting and milestone traceability.
- Improve planning, prioritisation, and forecasting across the team.
- Coach client teams in agile delivery and backlog management.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders to drive adoption and lasting change.
- Leave behind sustainable ways of working that the client can manage independently.
Requirements
- Proven track record of improving delivery maturity in software or data teams.
- Strong Agile and Lean delivery experience in established environments.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps or Jira as a delivery management platform.
- Experience leading organizational change and embedding lasting improvements.
- Ability to build credibility quickly with technical and business stakeholders.
- Comfort with ambiguity, incomplete information, and evolving client needs.
- Understanding of consultancy dynamics and client outcomes.
