Overview
We are looking for an experienced Delivery Lead to oversee Secure by Design (SbD) activities within a complex portfolio of defence projects. The role requires managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced and evolving environment, ensuring that security standards are integrated across all stages of delivery. You will collaborate with various technical and programme stakeholders to ensure an effective understanding and implementation of security requirements and contribute to decision-making amid uncertainties.
Responsibilities
- Lead Secure by Design activities across multiple concurrent projects and programmes.
- Drive delivery in complex environments with evolving requirements and priorities.
- Collaborate with technical, security, and programme stakeholders to ensure security requirements are implemented.
- Provide assurance that security controls and processes align with MOD and government standards.
- Support the development and maintenance of security artefacts and assurance documentation.
- Manage stakeholder engagement by translating complex security concepts into clear actions.
- Facilitate decision-making in situations with uncertainty and competing priorities.
- Monitor and address current cyber security threats and governance standards.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience delivering Secure by Design (SbD) within MOD or government environments.
- Strong understanding of security assurance, accreditation, and risk management processes.
- Experience with deployed/on-premise systems and cloud-based environments.
- Ability to operate effectively across multiple unlinked projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable in environments with ambiguity and changing priorities.
- Familiarity with RMADS, DART, RBC, or similar security assurance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current cyber security threats and government security standards.
