Overview
We are looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of a portfolio of applications and services, ensuring high client satisfaction and strong relationships. This hybrid role requires a blend of delivery leadership and client engagement, focusing on the successful management of complex programmes within the technology sector. The position will involve collaborative work with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end client relationships across a portfolio of applications.
- Lead the delivery of large, complex programmes, ensuring high performance.
- Drive collaboration among internal teams, business units, and third-party suppliers.
- Oversee programme risks, issues, and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with delivery methodologies, governance frameworks, and quality standards.
- Provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders and client leadership.
- Support business development activities such as presentations and proposals.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years experience in delivery management within technology services.
- Proven track record of delivering large, complex programmes with a labour value of £10m+.
- Experience managing at least 5 major programmes for mid-to-large organisations.
- Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- PM Certification at Programme Manager level or equivalent.
- Demonstrable financial acumen with a track record of budget management.
- Experience in managing third-party suppliers and cross-functional teams.
