Overview
We are looking for an Agile Delivery Manager to oversee the Agile delivery of complex, business-critical programmes within a secure and regulated environment. This role combines hands-on Scrum facilitation with comprehensive project and delivery management responsibilities, ensuring predictable outcomes aligned with Agile principles. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with stakeholders and teams to maintain governance and deliver on time and within budget, particularly in an SC-cleared context.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, ensuring effective team cadence.
- Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile values and practices for value-driven delivery.
- Promote continuous improvement through metrics-driven inspection and adaptation.
- Own and manage integrated project plans, ensuring alignment with goals and milestones.
- Monitor and control project scope, schedule, and risks while ensuring compliance.
- Track project financials, including budget utilization and forecasting.
- Act as the primary contact for stakeholders regarding delivery status and outcomes.
- Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and foster a collaborative team culture.
Requirements
- 12-20 years of experience in delivery roles, with 8-10 years in Agile/Scrum.
- Active SC Clearance and British Citizenship required.
- Extensive experience as a Scrum Master on medium to large-scale Agile programmes.
- Proven experience in Agile Project Management, including planning and governance.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban.
- Experience in managing project financials, including budgeting and cost control.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Hands-on experience with Agile management tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or Confluence.
