Overview
The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing the development capabilities of a prominent UK legal organisation. Working primarily in Azure environments, the contractor will focus on automating processes, improving platform reliability, and facilitating the migration of applications to the cloud. Collaboration with development teams will be key to ensuring successful deployment processes and addressing any technical issues that arise.
Responsibilities
- Drive automation and improve platform reliability within Azure environments.
- Support the migration and optimisation of applications within Azure.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and automation tooling.
- Ensure environments adhere to security, resilience, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes and troubleshoot issues.
Requirements
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Azure and cloud-native services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
- Containerisation and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
