Overview
A consulting partner is seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a high-profile financial services client, primarily operating in a remote capacity. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing technical support for critical systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the stability and security of various environments, including Linux, Windows, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. This role will require effective communication with stakeholders and customers to maintain system performance and address complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Support critical systems and provide technical assistance.
- Lead incident response and manage troubleshooting processes.
- Monitor and maintain system performance across multiple environments.
- Liaise with stakeholders and customers to build effective relationships.

Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical support or system administration.
- Background in financial services or trading environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows platforms.
- Proficiency with AWS and Azure cloud services.
- Experience with automation and scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like New Relic or Kibana.
- Excellent troubleshooting and incident management skills.
- Exposure to CI/CD practices and tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible is a plus.
