Overview
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead on a contract basis to support the evolution of our cloud and application delivery strategy. The successful candidate will focus on building scalable and automated platform services to enhance developer productivity and operational resilience, while also embedding security practices across the software delivery lifecycle. This role will collaborate with internal teams and third-party partners to ensure secure integration and deployment standards are implemented throughout the engineering process.
Responsibilities
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
- Implement automated deployment pipelines across development, test, UAT, and production environments.
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code solutions using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Support security controls within CI/CD pipelines, including code scanning and secrets detection.
- Contribute to platform security recommendations and engineering governance.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and operational resilience practices aligned to SRE principles.
- Support secure collaboration with internal teams and third-party partners.
- Contribute to platform architecture standards and future technology strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience with Azure cloud platform.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipeline engineering (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Bicep.
- Proficient in automation and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
- Familiarity with security practices and DevSecOps within CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience in identity and access management practices.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools for operational support.
- Previous work experience in cloud-native or platform engineering environments.
