Overview
We are seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to oversee and enhance the delivery platform for a major regulated organization in the UK. This role involves managing the deployment processes and environments, ensuring they are efficient and secure, while collaborating with both technical and operational teams in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Run and improve OpenShift and Kubernetes environments on AWS.
- Own CI/CD processes utilizing GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ArgoCD, and Nexus.
- Ensure security and manage dependencies with tools like Snyk and Renovate.
- Oversee feature delivery using LaunchDarkly and monitor performance with Splunk and Dynatrace.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS.
- Proven expertise in OpenShift or Kubernetes.
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD practices with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Security-first and automation-first mindset for operational tasks.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot.
- Bonus: Experience with LaunchDarkly, Renovate, Snyk, and within financial services.
