Overview
We are seeking a skilled DevOps / Platform Engineer to manage and enhance the delivery platform for a prominent regulated organization. This role involves optimizing OpenShift and Kubernetes environments on AWS, streamlining CI/CD processes, and ensuring a secure deployment pipeline. You will collaborate closely with other teams to leverage advanced monitoring and observability tools, all while embracing a security-first approach to development.
Responsibilities
- Run and optimize OpenShift and Kubernetes environments on AWS.
- Own and enhance the CI/CD processes utilizing GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Ensure security and dependencies are managed effectively with Snyk and Renovate.
- Manage feature delivery processes with LaunchDarkly.
- Monitor application performance using Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot within your workflow.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with AWS services.
- Strong proficiency in managing OpenShift and Kubernetes environments.
- Proven expertise in CI/CD implementation across GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Hands-on experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Demonstrated practice of a security-first and automation-driven work methodology.
- Familiarity with LaunchDarkly, Renovate, and Snyk is advantageous.
- Experience in financial services is a plus.
