Overview
We are seeking a DevOps / Platform Engineer to enhance and manage the delivery framework for a major regulated UK organisation's services. In this role, you will oversee the deploying processes and ensure reliability while working collaboratively with various teams to implement improvements. You will utilize a variety of cloud technologies and CI/CD tools to ensure high-quality service delivery that's efficient and secure.
Responsibilities
- Run and improve OpenShift and Kubernetes environments on AWS.
- Own the CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Ensure security and dependencies are monitored with Snyk and Renovate.
- Manage feature delivery through LaunchDarkly and establish monitoring protocols with Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Collaborate with teams to implement automation-first strategies in the development pipeline.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools like GitHub Copilot to enhance productivity.
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS and cloud services.
- Proficiency in OpenShift or Kubernetes environments.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD processes involving GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and ArgoCD.
- Experience with observability tools such as Splunk and Dynatrace.
- Demonstrated commitment to security-first and automation-first methodologies.
- Familiarity with LaunchDarkly, Renovate, and Snyk is a plus.
- Experience in the financial services sector is advantageous.
