Overview
The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining a security platform while ensuring secure practices within a DevOps environment. This role requires collaboration with various teams to integrate security measures throughout the development lifecycle. Only candidates with existing and transferrable DV Clearance will be considered for this on-site position over a 3-month contract period.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a secure platform using relevant technologies.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices to streamline deployments.
- Utilize Kubernetes for deploying secure applications and services.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate security into the CI/CD pipeline.
- Monitor and manage security frameworks and tools, including Splunk.
- Conduct scripting tasks in Bash to automate processes.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and protocols.
Requirements
- Existing and transferrable DV Clearance.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Linux systems.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
- Experience with SecDevOps principles and tools.
- Familiarity with Splunk and related monitoring software.
- Ideal experience with Windows administration and SecOps tooling.
