Overview
The DevSecOps Engineer will be an integral part of a contract team focused on delivering secure and scalable Azure-based solutions within a highly regulated finance environment. This position will involve collaborating across Development, Infrastructure, and Security teams to embed security practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence and resilience in applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using modern tooling.
- Support and optimise Azure cloud environments.
- Automate deployments and operational processes.
- Monitor application performance, availability and security.
- Identify, manage and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure and Security teams to deliver secure, high-quality software.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
- Experience with GitHub and CI/CD pipelines.
- Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates).
- Scripting skills in PowerShell, Python or Bash.
- Experience supporting .NET/C# applications.
- Knowledge of cloud security, vulnerability management and DevSecOps best practices.
- Experience with application monitoring and automation tools.
