Overview
We are seeking a .NET Developer with active SC Security Clearance for a hybrid contract role. The successful candidate will primarily work remotely with occasional visits to the office in Taunton to collaborate on a significant government project that involves developing enterprise-scale Azure Cloud applications. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a leading global IT transformation within a secure and highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale Azure Cloud applications within a secure environment.
- Develop applications utilizing C# and the .NET Framework / .NET Core.
- Integrate Azure PaaS services such as App Services and Azure Functions.
- Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to uphold coding standards.
- Utilize GitHub workflows and GitHub Copilot for source code management and development.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across various environments.
- Maintain technical documentation using approved repositories.
- Engage in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and daily stand-ups.
Requirements
- Active SC Security Clearance is mandatory.
- Strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET technologies.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Cloud services and development practices.
- Experience with REST APIs and service integration.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design principles (OOD).
- Proficient in Git and GitHub for version control.
- Experience working in Agile development teams.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and software engineering best practices.
