Overview
The .NET Developer role involves working with a rapidly scaling gambling and betting company to enhance their backend systems during a phase of extensive market expansion. The contractor will focus on developing high-throughput systems, integrating real-time data feeds, and potentially rebuilding infrastructure using advanced technologies, while collaborating with a fast-moving, self-directed team.
Responsibilities
- Develop backend systems utilizing .NET 9, with a transition to .NET 11.
- Implement integrations with real-time odds feeds and casino aggregators.
- Deploy and enhance internal administrative tools for new entities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations in new markets.
- Leverage AI tooling to improve existing processes and systems.
- Maintain high performance in Azure-hosted environments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer, preferably with .NET 9 and .NET 11.
- Strong background in developing high-throughput backend systems in a real-time environment.
- Experience with SignalR, KYC, and casino aggregator integrations.
- Familiarity with Azure cloud hosting and deployment processes.
- Knowledge of TypeScript for frontend development is a plus.
- Experience in gambling or fintech industries is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on leveraging AI tooling.
