Overview
The role of a Contract .NET Software Developer (CAD/CAM) involves supporting the development of innovative software products within a collaborative engineering team. The contractor will work on various projects, delivering scalable solutions and enhancing existing functionalities while adapting to changing priorities. Responsibilities
- Design and develop modern software applications using C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Maintain and enhance existing functionality of CAD/CAM software products.
- Adapt to changing project priorities and work across multiple teams and codebases.
- Utilize version control systems like Git for code management.
- Solve complex mathematical and algorithmic problems in software development.
- Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to software documentation.
Requirements
- Strong commercial experience with C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.
- 8+ years of experience working with AWS or Azure.
- Proficiency in using Git for version control.
- 3+ years of proven commercial software development experience.
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience with 3D graphics or CAD applications is a plus.
- Familiarity with WPF, Angular (v18+), DynamoDB, or NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and Event-driven architecture.
