Overview

As a DV Application Support Engineer, the contractor will be integral to a dedicated on-site team, focusing on the design, configuration, and maintenance of resilient systems essential for supporting government operations. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, this role involves addressing the unique requirements of intelligence community customers, ensuring the scalability and security of platforms while contributing to meaningful technical projects. This is an active hands-on position with opportunities to influence technical direction and system performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain reliable, scalable physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues.
  • Automate processes using tools such as Ansible to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Collaborate with engineers and stakeholders across the business.
  • Support continuous improvement of systems, tools, and practices.
  • Operate across the full infrastructure stack, from bare metal systems to virtual deployments.
  • Advise customers on integration components via REST APIs and other methods.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and proactive problem solving.

Requirements

  • Must have live eDV clearance.
  • Understanding of networking and software architectures.
  • Familiarity with structured text formats: JSON, XML, CSV.
  • Critical thinking skills and ability to test hypotheses.
  • Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python, or Go is desirable.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
  • Experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or similar roles is a plus.
