Overview
The Dynamics 365 Business Central Solution Architect will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of solutions within Dynamics 365 Business Central. The architect will collaborate with senior stakeholders, ensuring that technology solutions meet business outcomes and support pre-sales initiatives. This fully remote position is focused on integrating Business Central with other systems and overseeing architectural standards across the practice.
Responsibilities
- Own the Business Central solution architecture, defining system design and integration intent.
- Define operational capabilities of Business Central as the core ERP alongside D365 CE and external systems.
- Collaborate directly with senior stakeholders to shape solutions that align with business outcomes.
- Lead pre-sales activities by translating high-level requirements into actionable solutions.
- Drive change control and peer reviews ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Support solution definition during bids and discovery phases, including estimation processes.
Requirements
- Extensive hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- Solid knowledge of manufacturing and warehousing processes, including production models and inventory management.
- Demonstrated experience in solution architecture for complex ERP implementations.
- Ability to discern when to use standard BC features, ISVs, Power Platform or custom development.
- Proven capability to lead workshops and challenge stakeholder assumptions confidently.
