Overview
We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 Finance (F&O) Techno-Functional Consultant to assist in a significant transformation of the Dynamics 365 Finance platform within a business undergoing optimization. The consultant will work closely with finance stakeholders to lead the technical design of Source-to-Pay processes, enhance Accounts Payable automation, and ensure best practices are established throughout the platform. This role involves technical leadership across various areas, with a focus on collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design of a Dynamics 365 Finance Source-to-Pay transformation.
- Review existing Finance configuration and recommend best-practice approaches.
- Design efficient transaction structures to support AP automation and workflow.
- Define and optimise master data, approval workflows, security roles and controls.
- Translate business requirements into practical D365 Finance solutions.
- Provide technical leadership across configuration, integrations and platform capability.
- Advise on AP Automation and OCR solutions, including integration with D365 Finance.
- Produce clear documentation, solution designs and configuration guidance.
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (formerly Finance & Operations) projects.
- Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 Finance Techno-Functional Consultant, Senior Functional Consultant or Solution Architect.
- Deep understanding of Procure-to-Pay / Source-to-Pay and Accounts Payable processes.
- Strong knowledge of D365 Finance configuration, workflows, security, financial dimensions and master data.
- Experience working across configuration, integrations and technical solution design.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and recommend best practice.
- Experience working closely with Finance users, implementation partners and internal IT teams.
- Availability for hybrid work arrangement in Central / East London preferred, with approx. 1-2 days per week on-site.
