Overview
The E2E Mobile Network Solution Architect will lead the design and delivery of complex network transformation initiatives for a major UK telecoms organization. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of the mobile network ecosystem and the ability to oversee solutions across various technology domains. The architect will engage with diverse stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives while providing technical leadership throughout the solution lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solution architecture across major mobile network transformation programmes.
- Define solution approaches, architecture roadmaps, and delivery strategies for new business and technology requirements.
- Design and integrate solutions across multiple network and IT domains.
- Produce and review key architecture artefacts including High-Level Designs (HLDs) and Technical Requirements Specifications (TRS).
- Lead cross-functional workshops to drive alignment across engineering, operations, and IT teams.
- Identify and resolve complex cross-domain technical challenges.
- Support technical governance and architecture review boards.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and operationally aligned.
Requirements
- Significant experience as an E2E Solution Architect within mobile telecommunications.
- Proven ability to translate business requirements into end-to-end technical solutions.
- Broad knowledge across telecom and IT domains including RAN, Packet Core, and Cloud & Virtualisation.
- Experience leading technical governance processes and architecture reviews.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- 8+ years' experience in senior solution architecture roles.
- Demonstrable ownership of end-to-end solution design.
- Track record of delivering large-scale transformation programmes.
