Overview
The Electrical Package Manager will oversee the successful delivery of major electrical packages for a significant Greenfield electrification project, coordinating closely with various teams including procurement, engineering, and construction. This role demands a deep expertise in electrical engineering and a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, aiming to ensure seamless project execution over an initial 12 month contract period. Hybrid working is available, with three days in the office and two days remote.
Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of major electrical packages including Synchronous Condensers and 110kV switchgear.
- Focal point between Client's PMT and internal teams for effective project communication.
- Drive the multi-functional delivery of the RFQ process in collaboration with the construction team.
- Support engineering disciplines with a comprehensive understanding of project scope.
- Facilitate resolution of technical issues employing strong engineering background.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and major equipment suppliers.
Requirements
- Significant experience in electrical engineering, preferably in a project management role.
- Prior experience as a package engineer or package manager on similar projects.
- Familiarity with major electrical equipment, including transformers and switchgear.
- Strong understanding of the RFQ process and construction integration.
- Experience with ICSS design is an advantage.
- Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and manage relationships.
