Overview
The Embedded Software Engineer will play a crucial role in the development of embedded software within a Linux environment. Collaborating closely with hardware and systems engineers, the contractor will focus on designing, implementing, and maintaining device drivers over the course of a 6-month contract.
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software in C within a Linux environment.
- Design, implement, and maintain device drivers.
- Collaborate with hardware and systems engineers to ensure integration and functionality.
- Test and debug software components to ensure reliability and performance.
- Document software design and processes for maintenance and future development.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in embedded software development.
- Strong proficiency in C programming within Linux environments.
- Experience with device drivers or kernel-adjacent development.
- Ability to work effectively in an onsite team environment.
