Overview
We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join a dynamic engineering team for a six-month contract focused on innovative projects in electrical power and power electronics. This remote role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to design, develop, and implement advanced embedded software solutions for critical infrastructure applications. The successful candidate will work on high-reliability systems, contributing throughout the full development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement embedded software for electronic systems in power electronics and distribution.
- Collaborate closely with hardware, systems, and test engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to requirements gathering, architecture design, implementation, integration, and verification of software.
- Debug and integrate embedded software with electronic hardware to ensure robustness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in embedded software development using C and/or C++.
- Experience with real-time embedded systems and their challenges.
- Understanding of AC power distribution principles and electrical protection concepts.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Familiarity with debugging and integrating software with hardware components.
