Overview
The Endpoint Engineer will play a critical role in managing and improving endpoint hardware, operating systems, and applications within a dynamic trading environment. This contract position involves collaborating with Traders, Service Desk personnel, and infrastructure teams to enhance end-user experiences and resolve complex technical issues. The Engineer will focus on lifecycle management, automation, and security across various endpoint platforms, ensuring reliability and performance in high-stakes scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Engineer and support endpoint hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex endpoint and user experience issues in trading environments.
- Enhance and maintain Microsoft Intune for endpoint management and compliance.
- Implement and improve self-service software deployment through Company Portal and related tools.
- Manage Microsoft Autopilot enrollment and provisioning workflows.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to maintain reliable endpoint services.
- Develop automation tools to streamline provisioning and software deployment processes.
- Utilize AI tools to improve support operations and documentation management.
Requirements
- High proficiency in administering Windows and macOS operating systems in enterprise settings.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune for device and application management.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Autopilot and modern Windows provisioning techniques.
- Knowledge of self-service software deployment and packaging strategies.
- Strong understanding of Azure Entra ID, Active Directory, and user/device management.
- Ability to apply scripting and automation for endpoint efficiency.
- Excellent technical writing and communication skills for documentation creation.
- Experience with core networking concepts and virtualization technologies.
