Overview

The Junior Enterprise Architect will play a key role in supporting a transformation program within the UK Government landscape. This position is ideal for an early-career architect looking to gain experience in enterprise architecture while contributing to large-scale change across multi-organization enterprises. Working closely with stakeholders, the architect will help develop architectural roadmaps and solutions that meet government standards and policies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development of 'As-Is', 'To-Be', and transitional roadmaps across complex enterprises.
  • Contribute to Business Capability Modelling (BCM) to illustrate the business value of Enterprise Architecture.
  • Assist with the modernization and migration of complex legacy workloads following Cloud First policy.
  • Help shape solutions utilizing managed services, containerization, and serverless architectures.
  • Apply architectural standards and policies consistently and help maintain them across the enterprise.
  • Participate in agile governance frameworks that facilitate rapid decision-making while maintaining control.
  • Engage in the architecture community and pursue personal skill development.
  • Support stakeholder engagement to build trust and alignment on strategic decisions.

Requirements

  • Enterprise Architecture experience, ideally with a TOGAF qualification.
  • Five years of Enterprise Architecture or consulting experience.
  • Proven track record of contributing to enterprise-scale change in regulated environments.
  • Developing stakeholder management skills with an eagerness to engage senior leaders.
  • Collaborative and pragmatic problem-solving style.
  • Willingness to attend the client site in London regularly.
