Overview
As an EPC Programme Planner, you will contribute significantly to the planning and execution of utility-scale Battery Energy Storage (BESS) and grid infrastructure projects. Collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams, you will develop integrated project schedules and ensure successful project delivery while managing risks and providing accurate programme reporting. This role is an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension, full-time and office-based.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes using Microsoft Project.
- Produce and manage baseline schedules, tracking progress against key milestones.
- Monitor programme performance, identifying critical path activities, risks, and opportunities.
- Liaise with engineering, procurement, commercial, and construction teams to ensure programme accuracy and alignment.
- Prepare look-ahead schedules, progress updates, and planning reports for internal and client meetings.
- Support delay analysis, change management, and programme recovery where required.
- Assist with tender planning and pre-construction programme development for new project opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven experience planning and scheduling utility-scale BESS or HV infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of EPC project delivery within the UK renewable energy or power transmission sector.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project.
- Excellent knowledge of planning methodologies, critical path analysis, and project controls.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical, commercial, and client stakeholders.
- Full right to work in the UK.
