Overview
The ERP Programme / Sourcing Lead will play a pivotal role in driving the selection process for a new ERP platform, reporting directly to the CIO. This interim position entails engaging with business stakeholders, defining the ERP strategy, and managing the RFI/RFP processes to ensure a comprehensive evaluation of potential vendors. The contractor will work mainly remotely, with occasional on-site meetings, and is expected to establish a clear roadmap for the project while maintaining strong communication with senior management and delivery teams.
Responsibilities
- Review the current ERP landscape, processes, and operating model.
- Assess the existing solutions and surrounding applications.
- Engage business stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback.
- Develop the target ERP strategy and overall sourcing approach.
- Produce and manage the RFI process to assess vendor capabilities.
- Define evaluation criteria, governance, and vendor assessment methodology.
- Create a roadmap for the subsequent RFP and selection phases.
- Lead the RFP process end-to-end, including vendor evaluations and negotiations.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in leading enterprise ERP selection and sourcing programmes.
- Proven track record of delivering ERP replacement initiatives in retail, fashion, or multi-site distribution environments.
- Experience in managing RFI/RFP processes and vendor evaluations.
- Ability to effectively communicate and operate at the CIO and Board level.
- Strong programme leadership and stakeholder management skills.
