Overview
We are seeking an experienced ETRM Business Analyst with expertise in the Power trading sector for a dynamic role in an energy trading firm. The contractor will engage in the full project lifecycle to analyze business requirements and support the successful implementation of new systems, ensuring alignment between business needs and IT solutions. Collaboration with various stakeholders and continuous system improvement will be integral to this position.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize existing systems for European power trading and sales.
- Elicit and document business requirements from stakeholders and IT.
- Participate in testing processes, including unit, QA, and UAT, to ensure functionality of new systems.
- Engage with business stakeholders to define solutions that align with trading strategies.
- Support the program managers in aligning business and project goals.
- Perform post-implementation reviews to identify opportunities for enhancing system performance.
- Map requirements in Azure DevOps for development purposes.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Business Analyst in the Power trading space.
- Deep knowledge of the European power market and experience with ETRMs.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps and knowledge of traded derivative products for ETD and OTC.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize system functionalities.
- Ability to liaise effectively between business needs and IT delivery.
