The Facilities Project Manager will play a crucial role in managing the physical site readiness and infrastructural needs of a rapidly expanding aerospace specialist. This position is focused on overseeing site upgrade projects, managing contractor relationships, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols to support cutting-edge R&D and manufacturing operations. The contractor will work closely with external vendors and project teams to enhance the site’s capabilities while maintaining high standards for security and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and delivery of site upgrade projects to enhance physical infrastructure.
  • Manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers, ensuring projects adhere to schedules and quality standards.
  • Oversee site compliance with Health & Safety protocols and workplace standards.
  • Coordinate physical security upgrades and maintain necessary security documentation for site operations.

Requirements

  • Significant experience managing complex facilities and infrastructure projects in an R&D or manufacturing environment.
  • Proven expertise in contractor and vendor management, ensuring timely project delivery.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety procedures relevant to site management and compliance.
  • British Citizenship or right to work in the UK and ability to obtain Security Clearance.
