Overview
We are seeking a Finance Manager Contractor to join our exclusive freelance team at RORA, where you will work closely with founders and leadership teams at innovative startups and scaleups. Responsibilities
- Manage accountancy and finance operations for multiple UK startups and scaleups.
- Identify and implement scalable solutions to automate and optimize financial systems and processes.
- Build collaborative relationships with external partners and the internal FinOps team.
- Mentor and develop RORA's international FinOps Associate team.
- Produce management reports and implement essential financial processes.
- Support multiple clients on a fractional basis, typically 1–3 days per week per client.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in finance and accounting, specifically in startup or scaleup environments.
- Professional finance credentials preferred (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA).
- Experience with cloud-based financial software such as Xero, Dext, and Pleo.
- Confident in producing management reporting and implementing financial processes.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and work collaboratively in fast-paced settings.
