Overview
We are seeking a Finance Programme Manager with a strong background in the insurance sector to lead an ongoing Finance Programme that consists of several key projects and various sub-projects. This contractor will work closely with senior stakeholders, including the CFO and Head of Change, to ensure successful delivery of complex financial transformations. The role is initially contracted for six months, with a strong likelihood of extension through to completion of the programme.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of a large complex finance programme within the insurance sector.
- Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment and progress on programme objectives.
- Collaborate with senior management, including the CFO, on strategic financial decisions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
- Oversee the integration of financial planning and M&A initiatives into the programme.
- Facilitate communication among project teams to ensure clarity and efficiency.
- Monitor and report on the programme's progress, addressing any risks that arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Programme Manager within the insurance sector.
- Demonstrated track record in delivering large-scale finance transformation projects.
- Strong stakeholder management and engagement capabilities.
- Experience with long-term financial planning and M&A processes.
- Familiarity with the London Market Insurance environment.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex financial concepts and risks.
- Contract experience, with a preference for managing outside IR35 engagements.
