Overview
The Freelance Commercial Manager will play a critical role in managing and delivering a portfolio of infrastructure projects across the UK. Responsibilities
- Manage cost variance reports (CVRs) and ensure accurate cost management for infrastructure projects.
- Oversee subcontract management and coordinate project change management processes.
- Conduct monthly valuations and prepare comprehensive commercial reports.
- Lead and mentor a small commercial team to optimize project delivery.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive project success.
- Support the development and implementation of smart infrastructure solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Commercial Manager within the civil engineering or infrastructure sectors.
- Strong knowledge of cost management, subcontract management, and commercial reporting.
- Demonstrable leadership and communication skills.
- Full UK driving license is required.
- Experience working with main contractors on major projects is essential.
